Linay Reed (she/her/hers) aspires for every young person in Baltimore City to be afforded equal opportunities for advancement. Within our city, there are two distinct realities: one where youth are granted fair chances to progress and another where they remain unaware of their own potential and have less opportunities available to them. She believes that Baltimore Promise shares the same aspirations, which is why she applied to join the Community Advisory Board.

Linay is a proud native of West Baltimore, with a decade-long career as an educator. Alongside her professional commitments, she is a devoted mother of two boys. Linay's passion lies in advocating for community and family engagement, spearheading initiatives for affordable housing development, and actively contributing to the building and strengthening of her Baltimore neighborhood.
